I’m told the correct pronunciation is Gri-ez-man.Getting rather annoyed with Clive Tyldesley insisting on calling Griezmann (Greeze-man) Grease-man.
Tile Des Lee anyone?
A respected French football journalist told me.

(First contact looked outside to me.
FRA-SUI is sure giving it some competition! What a great day for Soccer!Game of the tournament so far as well, brilliant entertainment!

A little on the right looked outside but then big to the left looked like on the line. I think pen. But I thought the convention was first contact... all we ask for is consistencyI thought that aspect was interesting. In the US, Clattenberg referred to a continuing foul, but this wasn't holding. While the first contact appeared outside the PA, the worst contact was inside.
How many subs? I thought it was 5. But the Beeb site says 5 already for the Swiss so that’s 6...?
Shame really. I like the Hunger Games vibe with more walking wounded! You get one more in extra time.
Sommer! So close to coming off his line! That was exciting!!
It was indeed. The ref did well to tell the all to wait too!Him having the awareness to wait for the VAR to confirm it was something.
Yes, I thought that was very impressive. Waited for the thumbs up before he celebratedHim having the awareness to wait for the VAR to confirm it was something.

Justifiable by, first contact did not make it a foul if that contact was the only contact. It was the contact inside the PA that made it a foul.A little on the right looked outside but then big to the left looked like on the line. I think pen. Not sure why he needed VAR for the pen/foul, absolutely crystal clear
I am fairly certain the only reason he didn't blow was because the attacker got up and go on with it. A bug bear of mine. Same with diving. All this does is to encourage players to stay down and appeal or deliberately dive after being fouled (because if they don't, the referee doesn't give it).Even if the ref isn’t sure on in/out surely it was an easy whistle.
I agree. I don't think players should be penalised for trying to stay on their feet. It just encourages them to go down all the timeI am fairly certain the only reason he didn't blow was because the attacker got up and go on with it. A bug bear of mine. Same with diving. Coming from South America, I can't blame the Ref. Player tries to play on after a foul in the PA..... Argentinian Referee enters 'cannot compute mode'I am fairly certain the only reason he didn't blow was because the attacker got up and go on with it. A bug bear of mine. Same with diving. If you look at the referee before the KFTPM he was pleading with them, I assumed he was talking about staying on the line so he didn't have to send them off, then perhaps he also made a point of waiting for check complete before celebrating.I was thinking something similar when Sommer saved the PK. In South America the keeper would have ran off and celebrating just to put the referee in the bad spot of having to break up the celebration.
