This is my first full season and I'm 43. So far I've been injured twice, the first time with a groin strain and hip flexor injury and now with an slight fractured fibula.. Can anyone give me any gym or training tips to get my body conditioned to doing 6 miles in an game and not getting injured ?
I am recovering from an injury so am having Sunday's off and so I decide to go and watch my local under 12 team who have asked me to ref for them a few times.
What I saw confused me as a few of them were wearing like tights under their kit , one kid had an orange base layer when his primary kit...
i have just watched match of the day and big Sam said that if a goalkeeper is off the ground all it needs is a little knock and it's a foul. I can't see that in the LOTG. What's the guidelines on this? Is he right or just another manager who hasn't a clue on the laws ?
a small slight striker, gets the ball and shields it from a much taller defender with his back, in the tussle the small striker starts to lean back into the larger defender and falls over...the defender due to his size is leaning over the striker so some contact is being made ..... What do you...

so today was my first league game and all I got was 'offside' in his back ref , cmon ref blow , and chelp. Yellow card for dissent and one for reckless challenge .. Does the comments ever stop that make you feel like your missing everything or does everyone get them
So I'm still trying to access the referee tab in the whole game and keep getting the oops and it's been reported. Asked county and they say everything their end is fine. How often does the system fail ?
. I've Got a question about hesitating though, I sometimes see something and put my whistle to my lips but then think no that's fine and don't blow. I got picked up on that by a couple of players last night to which i told them to stop watching me and play to the whistle. Should I go with my...
Today I had a keeper that parried the ball in the goal area, he then followed the rolling ball to the edge of the Penalty area and picked it up .. I gave an indirect free kick for handling twice.. Was I correct ?
ive got 2 fox 40 classic whistles and one is the cmg version. Which ones do you prefer because even though they are supposed to be the same the non CMG one seems easier and louder too. Has anyone else had this.

The game is flowing and you as the ref are following the game, when a shout goes up that blue player has punched red player who is knocked to the floor, the ref didn't see the incident...
