a small slight striker, gets the ball and shields it from a much taller defender with his back, in the tussle the small striker starts to lean back into the larger defender and falls over...the defender due to his size is leaning over the striker so some contact is being made ..... What do you give ?

Sounds like "backing in" by the striker, therefore free kick to the defender. However depends on the "tussle" and what the first offence was, shirt pulling etc.
