Simple way to eliminate any future issues... ALL goal kicks MUST be taken by the goalkeeper. Teams can still play out from the back and it wouldn't have to altar any other laws. Welcome to take a short one inside the 6 yard box but it MUST be the goalkeeper who kicks the ball into play. No...

Not for long.

What if it's cold, wet and I'm in a 'busy' mood....?

Refereed a game today in my local Step 7 league and noticed in my pre match checks that the bottom of one of the goal posts was damaged. Nothing sharp or dangerous but the post had been dented and knocked out of shape. This could have effected the path of the ball had it struck the post in this...

Fairly straightforward red card offence. Easy to after watching the clip but blowing up after the first uncontrolled lunge would avoid this tackle being made. Once the offender makes that 2nd tackles there can only be 1 colour card though!

Would have been a 2nd yellow for USB had they cautioned him for the pull back.

He did. After 91st minute penalty.

Engineered onside at a corner?! I hope you haven't seen any offsides from a corner!

My county FA has recently lost their RDO to a role within the National FA. I've now learned that the county FA aren't looking to recruit a replacement RDO and are instead looking to merge it with another role and have hired someone with no refereeing knowledge or experience. Do any other county...

Womens pathway? Don't 3W's get the same badge?

The player sent to the sin bin cannot be replaced until their 10 minutes is up. However, a substitute that is cautioned for dissent can be bought on whenever the manager wishes as their dissent is not punished with any kind of sin bin.

Assuming you don't blow your whistle until the ball enters the goal, I'd drop it to the keeper. Play is stopped once the ball enters the goal, so closest position of the ball would be 99% over the goal line and therefore within the penalty area.

I believe it's Level 4 for any middles in the earliest rounds. Last game I had was a few years ago and I have a L5 and L6 as my AR's.

Turns out I have Tibialis Posterior Tendonitis Makes my leg wonky when I run and causes pain during HI runs!

I thought about it being a muscle tear/strain but it's in both calves at the same point each time I train. It's possible but I'd be extremely unlucky to have a tear in both calves at the same time!

Physio booked for next week. Spoke to the Referee Manager and there are back up tests in September too incase it's not sorted in time for August.
