The Ref Stop

West Ham v Arsenal

Definite foul on Raya. You could see how his arms were being pushed down. The pundits later said that there were actually lots of fouls going on there. tbh in the chaos of the moment, even on the slowmo, I couldn't tell what other ones they were referring to.
So you missed the manhandle by Rice in background.
Todibo also being wrestled away from Raya.
There was something at the front post too.
All on WHU and all before any contact with Raya.

Yes, I did see the tug on Raya's shirt. I think that was probably even more disruptive than the arm as it stopped him jumping properly.
Ok, ignoring what I wrote...
I said that Todibo was being wrestled by the Arsenal player away from Raya. Chances are he grabbed the first thing he could to keep balance whilst being fouled himself.

Not sure if you are a wind up or do it deliberately when ignoring the post you are replying to by the way.
Not doubting there was a "pull" but ask yourself why and what happened leading to this. Oh yeah, Todibo being fouled.

Not sure if you are a wind up
No, I'm not a wind up. I've noticed that the only time you ever talk to me is to "correct" or criticise me and then you escalate it, like now. Big tip: I'm not interested and it's really annoying. Just leave it out. I might just start ignoring your posts completely if you carry on with this behaviour. Don't bother replying.

Not at all.
I dont notice you talk in other posts for me to reply.
But it is now two threads where youve replied to my posts and completely ignored what was actually being said. Its not a criticism.. its not correcting.
Its pointing out that you missed literally the whole point of what you are replying to.
You replied, to my post, that you noticed the tug on Raya when I never mentioned Raya being fouled.
Think its quite obvious Raya was fouled, technically twice, but that was not what I was referring to and you know it. Hence why I asked if you were on a wind up as its twice now you have ignored and picked what you choose to reply to hoping for a bite.

When you’ve quite finished chaps!
Trust me Ross, ive got nothing against him/her/they/them.
See a report has been made about me. Id like a laugh and see a copy of it. A non referee on a referee forum picking and choosing what they reply to and getting upset when its called out.

Every match week there are 'natural coming together' at corners or 'both are holding each other' or a more recent term 'contact was made before the ball was in play'.

Without Raya's arm being pulled down, shirt being pulled from behind and arm across the face/body, that's a simple catch.

I'm a West Ham supporter and can accept it's a foul on the GK, albeit there are numerous West Ham players being fouled before that foul occurred. The bigger point is that the same shenanigans have been going on the box at corners/free kicks all season that didn't result in a VAR intervention, and when it comes to such an important intervention at both ends of the table whatever VAR did was going to be criticised. That is the PGMOL's fault.

Reality is this incident won't be the cause of our relegation even though it will be the focus if we end up level on points with Spurs - the running of the club and our form prior to the New Year are. We're 10th in points since 1st Jan but it was too little, too late. Oh, and the unbelievable miss from Fernandes that would have had us 1-0 up is being entirely overlooked... 🤦‍♂️

I think a couple of things can be true at once here - The grabbing of Raya is a clear foul and a legitimate VAR intervention. Also, the refs/PL/PGMOL kind of opened pandoras box on how these corners have been officiated all season and opened themselves up to a lot of "what about this earlier in the season".
