Hello everyone,

Is this challenge reckless or does it involve excessive force?

Whether there was contact or not:

Does it deserve a foul? Yellow card / red card / no call?

Did the attacker make a mistake by sliding in and putting himself in a dangerous position, or is the fault on the defender?

My first thoughts are yellow as he is reckless there. Ball was in a position to justify his leg being where it is and he looks like he tries to reduce the amount of force used when he realises he's f*cked up (based on how the leg is retracted afterwards).

Not sure if there is a tolerance difference in Futsal but surprised to not see at least a FK given

Edit: The more I watch this the more I lean to no card just FK

Not futsal🫣 Futsal = hard surface, typically basketball/handball courts and often walls/benches uncomfortably close to the playing area at grassroots - all of which mean tolerance may be very different for sliding challenges, challenges leading to falls, and pushes close to sidelines.

Anyway, not a factor here. And I agree with you, FK is a good outcome here.
