The same can't be said of mong, so I'd say that kind of blows the whole point of this topic apart.

Except mong does actually have more than one meaning.....

As well as being slang for ‘a foolish person’....it can also be a short form of ‘mongrel’ especially if you’re Australian....and have seen it described as an American short form for Mongolia or Mongolian.
