About 2-3 mins ago, 4th called him over, calls Giroud off the bench and booked himWhen was that?
Think it was so frantic I don’t think it was ‘purposeful’ enough. Was that not a “pass back” to the Argentinian keeper (following the advantage?)
Really great game, and I’m loving the 3rd teams performanceBut - this is a brilliant game. Quite glad we ain’t in the final. Am enjoying it a lot more than I would be if I wasn’t neutral (ish) here. Cheering for FRA here!
Above the foot, no deliberate trick as he was already on the ground? Was that not a “pass back” to the Argentinian keeper (following the advantage?)
There certainly was, but no FK required by law or the game.Anyone think there was a high boot then?
Agreed, not enough thinking time to deem it as a deliberate trick IMO, it was just instinctive.Think it was so frantic I don’t think it was ‘purposeful’ enough.
Loved the booking to Giroud for being too gobby. Was an excellent advantage!!
No, because you can only kick with your feet, not your thigh. Was that not a “pass back” to the Argentinian keeper (following the advantage?)
I asked the same questionI was thinking deliberate trick for the pass back did he drop to his knees to do that?

It was the quickest I've seen a player get up after being fouled all tournament, so I can understand why he blew!I think he could have played advantage there for the challenge on Coman, France 3 on 3. Had the opportunity to allow the quick free kick but pulled that back for a booking as well
