Watford's showing was an insult to the occasion. Abysmal.

Personally i don’t think that Watford were that bad just that City were on another level to Watford

I like Sterling. I know some don't, but I do.

But him kicking the ball to try and get the goal (I think he did), thus nicking it off his team mate, is a crappy thing to do.
I will not accept the "making sure" it was in. He was aware that no one was around him. He could have let his team mate have that goal.

He was chasing that "I scored at a Wembley FA Cup Final" tagline and done it the scummy way.

Agree, they were still in the game until De Bruyne came on, and were actually starting to get on top which is why I think Pep sacrificed Mahrez at that time, to get some control of things back. It certainly worked ..!

No doubt DeBruyne played well but to get Man of the MATCH is stretching it a bit, Apart from maybe 10 minutes in each half it was one way traffic.
I don't think the Watford keeper did a lot wrong, I don't thing many teams could have competed yesterday...

The only debate I can see is either the invincibles or the United side which won the treble. We’ll never truly know who was the better side but for me, this City side have taken football to a new level. 197 points in 2 seasons, 169 goals this year, first ever side to do the domestic treble.

Yeah the commentators were pushing that fantasy as well.

Watford were AWFUL!
City weren't even close to top gear and put six past them.
The "can't be arsed attitude" of the last 30 mins was shameful. Like watching 10 Pogbas!

Just my opinion mate City have around £500 million worth of players in their squad and when you compare that to Watford’s squad probably around £150 million they have a lot more quality. It may have looked like Watford couldn’t be arsed but personally they couldn’t get the ball back and do anything with it. On another note I thought Watford’s fans were nothing short of outstanding. They may have lost 6-0 but they stayed and sung until after the full time whistle.

Agree totally. Conversely I was amazed by some the City fans, huge numbers left after 40 minutes to get a beer, I've never really seen anything like that before. Then after the game mass numbers left before the final whistle or bang on it, and I found it astonishing that they left before the presentation. As with all cup finals there were some neutrals in there, myself included, but people in full Man City regalia were streaming out of the ground. Guess they are just used to winning things.

I agree. Even at 2-0 down Watford had 11 men within 30 yards of their own goal. They didn’t even play for pride

The same reason for all these farcical KO times ... TV money. BT and BBC requested later KO time for the final when the broadcasting rights were agreed to boost broadcasting figures. Good on virgin for sticking extra trains on though, apparently the only people who care about the modern football fan

I get that during the season, they don't want to clash with 3pm games and potential other sports such as rugby. But yesterday there was little to clash with, and 3pm would have worked perfectly. Also doesn't make sense for the overseas market, the Premier League is much bigger in Asia than it is in America. 3pm kick off in Japan is 11pm so just about workable, 5pm UK is 1am there so a lot more problematic.
