Referee plays on.

I think there’s an argument for SFP but also reckless/DOGSO. I am not sold on either but think DOGSO a much stronger call. Quite surprised the referee has dismissed the foul. Any other player anywhere else I’d expect freekick yellow minimum

I am Biased though….

Thoughts?

It’s a clear foul and yellow card for me. Take a pick of SPA or reckless. I don’t see it as endangering safety, and the Rangers defender is close enough to provide cover so not DOGO.
I do however think you should have had a penalty for the shirt pull on David Watson.

Tough one, goalkeepers union would say he made the save, but was it reckless?

Shirt pull for me is not quite impactful enough.

Both feet off the ground at pace...
Goalkeepers' get far too much leeway form this type of challenge.

The referee has no angle on it.

Not 100% conclusive one way or the other, though the goalkeeper does make clear contact with the ball off his knee albeit from a ricochet. I think the decision not to change anything was correct.
