Kids And Wearing Spectacles (Again!!)

For me its a matter of looking professional. I am aware not everybody is in it to look professional or cares.

its in the laws of the game that the referee can wear a watch so that arguement doesn’t compare with wearing glasses.

its similar to a referee who wears jackets on the park, again its just not professional

I wear my glasses while reffing as sadly I have a dexterity issue meaning contacts are out I also run competitively in glasses to a high standard so am used to the feeling looks no less professional to me.

I generally only do grassroots / junior football, and I just wouldn't let anyone on wearing glasses.

Although, I didn't even realise this past weekend about glasses during my little check when the players ran onto the field, and got a bit shocked at one boy wearing Edgar Davids style spectacles/glasses/not sure what they are officially called midway through the game, thinking that I really need to sort out my priorities.
