The Ref Stop

How are the pitches looking?

The Ref Stop
Barnsley, Doncaster and Sheffield councils have closed all their fields this weekend. So it's privately owned fields only in those areas
My game has just been rearranged to 3G hopefully, but was supposed to be on a council field. I might get lucky, only had one weekend this year with no game (touch wood).

Not looking good for my match on Saturday, pitch was waterlogged when I passed yesterday. I've got an academy match on 3G Sunday morning though, the weather shouldn't be a problem!:)

I'm playing in Chapeltown, Leeds so I'm still on for now.

Swansea, Carmarthen, Port Talbot games are ALL off, I think Neath is also the same.

Just received a call to say my game tomorrow is off, not surprised being the ground is about 500 yards from the River Severn. Sunday is surprisingly off that's a first, it was an academy game and the pitches at Lillishall are in top nick and now there waterlogged.

Just packed the last bit of my kit for tomorrow, excited.

My match has been rearranged to 3G because of council closing the pitches, just got a text from the home manager saying that the opposition don't want to play on 3G but the league has said that they should. Not sure what is going to happen now.

I have no idea on my game tomorrow. Still on at the moment but this rain is being relentless tonight so I'm not holding much hope but we'll have to just see I guess

Looking like I might just get a game this week.

Anyone got some swimming trunks I can borrow?

I have no idea, it could be. It was sent to me by ref appoint sec who's local so it could well be.

But I don't think it's the worst one about.
