The Ref Stop

Arsenal vs PSG

I don’t disagree. Is that a benefit or a hindrance of VAR? I feel referees at that level don’t make the big calls anymore and rely on VAR to make the call.

The result is only clear cut decisions being made. That maybe a good thing or it maybe a bad thing. Who knows? ;)
Not sure I understand that comment, the referee had two big decisions to make and he made them both on-pitch with no help from VAR.

The Ref Stop
I thought the ref had a really good game. Why don't our Premier League refs show the same no-nonsense attitude towards cheating and time-wasting ? I wouldn't have given a pen. I'd have to be 100% certain to give a penalty, and it was just a coming together. All those saying it was "stonewall" etc, are talking garbage

both penalty calls correct although had he given second one, I don’t feel var would have reversed it as an obvious error.

However, my main question is who blows for half time before the corner is taken? If you give the corner, you let it play, otherwise blow before people setup for the corner.
39 seconds to take the previous throw-in. 30 seconds before they looked ready to take the corner.

A great moment.
