    Comms Kit

From what I heard the other week the FA are looking to start and use them on Conference football, you never know it might lower down to Supply and Contrib but they are quite an expensive piece of kit to buy so referees aren't likely to buy it using their own money...

    Rest or Improve?

I'm planning just doing core training till my exams have finished (just over 2 weeks) then going for the cardio - niggling little ankle sprain has slowed me down near the end of this season so will work on that:)

    Rest or Improve?

What are you guys planning on doing till the start of the new season? Do you plan to just rest and sun yourself or Have you set yourself aims which you want to reach so you are going to start training? Just wondered how other referees work in the post/pre season

    Double Promotion?

You're 16; their is no need to double jump. I was offered it but I rejected it due to all the comments i'd heard from referees who had done it; it catches up with you in the future as you are basically missing out on that 1 year experience of 6-5...

    Policing Verbal Distractions

Personally, I would walk over caution one of the subs and tell them if you hear anything like you have previously heard then the others will be getting booked. I've done that before when I wasn't 100% sure which sub made a comment towards me. Worked a charm for me...

Open Age One of those games

Had one of those games today: Local Derby 4th v 6th It was quite a fast paced but 'dirty' game; I feel I had control of the game but then one player turned around and said 'let it flow ref' bearing in mind I had played the advantage quite alot. This got me thinking about the game, reflecting...

As you are still 15 (according to your profile page) you won't be able to apply for promotion this year however, when you become a Level 7 referee on your 16th birthday you will be able to able for promotion then. Until then keep getting experience with the football you are doing at the moment...
