    FA app

Why do the FA not produce an app. It would make it easier to report what happened straight after the match, if they linked it like REFSIX to your watch a lot could be done at the time. It just seems daft that they are still on a slow and clumpy website.

    Stoke v Everton

He would also have affected the keeper as well. I would have said that he gained an advantage by being in the position. Would Shawcross have committed to the attempt, had the other player not been right behind him ?

    Just weird - Verratti

What was he circumventing exactly ?

    Just weird - Verratti

The keeper did not pick it up, so what did he do wrong. Had he picked it up I would have understood

    4 game ban for Wenger

While I agree with the ban and fine in this incident. I do think that they protect the refs a little to much in the sense that Managers can not complain if they think the ref has had a bad game. Insulting them I agree should be stopped, but saying that they think that the ref has been bad...

    It's still a contact sport?

I have felt that we are getting to the stage where contact will no longer be in the game. Players now go flying, even if they are slightly touched as we as Ref's keep giving them. I was an assistant to a match today and the pitch became a mud pit, but the players did not do anything dangerous...

Caution a player from either side

    Stoke V Leicester

If you intend the take the ball and do just that, does that not mean that when you started the tackle you were in control as you did as you intended ?

    Stoke V Leicester

All tackles come off the ground, unless its a standing tackle so are all tackles out of control ?

    Stoke V Leicester

I thought that both decisions were wrong. However the Vardy tackle did look in real time bad, but watching it slow mo he took the ball and did not connect with both feet. Had he been out of control as some have said then he would have connected with both feet. The hand ball, no intent as he was...

    Spartan sth 13th min abandonment

If I was at the level this ref was and one person gave me abuse that was not a player or part of the management. They you would be welcome too. I am sure like most refs, I would carry on.

    Penalty or Not?

Both doing the same thing for me. The problem with the modern game is that both push and shove, but the attacking player always goes down like they have been shot.

    Constructive feedback.

    Whats happened here then?

Considering how close the ref and the assistant were to the incident, I would say they should have heard what happened. The player was angry at another player and the ref should have managed that, why did the player that pulled the shirt off his back not get a yellow ? I am concerned that the...

    Olympic Diving

If they (FA etc) started to take action after the match for diving we would see a lot less of it. For me it should be classed as a red card offence and banned accordingly.

    Spartan sth 13th min abandonment

Sounds like the ref had a tantrum himself there. Its part of the game and some insults are amusing. There is often a chant of the referees a ..... can you imagine how many matches in the country would be abandoned if you left because of abuse

    Whats happened here then?

http://www.skysports.com/football/port-vale-vs-fleetwood/358863 Towards the end of the match, a player appears to headbutt (or at least attempt too) another. Then Grant gets upset about something and ends up with his shirt ripped off. The ref then shows Grant a yellow card, followed by a red...

Mike Dean managing a Kick Off

Spirit of the game ?? what he did there was technically cheating and was delaying the restart of play. Teams have scored directly from Kick off. The ref is there to make sure there is fair play, telling a player to stand in the other half to delay play is not fair play.

    Leave field or not?

No the ref did not show a card and the player was down for a considerable amount of time.

Mike Dean managing a Kick Off

For me it's not the referees job to help either team. While they can do that to delay the restart the referee should not be encouraging it. He at that moment influenced the play and in effect stopped them scoring. This would become a slippery slope and the ref would have to start to interfere at...
