    Lewisham vs Lordwood

https://x.com/lewishamborocfc/status/1713597869628809337?s=46&t=hB68T3oyJ3w3nWAucuLdBw Always hard to take a lot from a Twitter post from a club but an interesting read. Thoughts?

MNC vs CHE red card Greenwood

Not accusing you of lying but I can’t find this anyway (found a site that said “former player” but no mention of the level. Do you have a link to anything to back this? Only cos I’d like to mention it if it’s true. Cheers

    ARS vs CIT

Forest vs Bournemouth last year? He was asked to go to monitor but didn't change his decision

    ARS vs CIT

Feel like that’s a yellow card if hes not already on one (not like that should matter obviously) What is Kovacic thinking flying in like that though. Pep gotta be thinking about taking him off

    ARS vs CIT

First talking point of the match. Red or yellow for Kovacic?

    VAR Consistency

I’m a United fan, the MacAllister one was a very poor decision and rightfully overturned. Jota was unlucky, but looked like he had lost his head from the second half onwards, and to do the challenge he did whilst on a yellow was stupid. The other 2 are stonewall though, I fail to understand...

Think the Audio shows this, and was obviously not a conspiracy theory by Dale Johnson

    VAR: An Unconscious Bias? (Updated)

Of course, but it is interesting the number of red cards is very similar. All that’s decreased is the number of red cards shown on field. I’m not saying there’s anything to these stats btw I’m trying to remain unbiased. I’m relatively certain that there has not been a directive where they go...

    VAR: An Unconscious Bias? (Updated)

This is a topic I made 6 months ago, but following the reigniting of this debate yesterday in regards to the Burnley vs Manchester City red card, I thought we could revisit these stats again. I can link the original thread for more info on how I got the stats and everything but this is just a...

    League One Playoff Final

He's been very poor on co-comms. Saying it's not a red cos it's a final and then saying the ref should be sent to the screen to see it a few times and then if he still thinks it's red he can keep it! Btw I think penalty and I'm unsure on the second one. Neither are C and O in my opinion tho

    League One Playoff Final

Barnsley may feel aggrieved here. Denied a penalty that's a pen for me, with VAR choosing to not overturn Minutes later, a straight red card that many will fee of harsh, which VAR again chooses to not overturn. Gonna be an interesting end to this game

youth manager "i've never heard of sin bins".

I gave out 2 at U11s! 1 at U12s as well. My card count is quite low as well, shows how deserved they both were. The second one at U11s is the funniest one. Away team player unnecessarily lash out post 50-50, silly and reckless, yellow. My away team CAR started calling for a yellow, which I...

    Abused as assistant

Tbh with you, from my time as a coach, I hated it when parents would coach. Our club wanted parents to stay quiet during matches. As a referee though that’s not my problem and it’s a separate issue to CARs coaching. For me, especially with my CARs only calling ins and outs, I don’t really care...

    Abused as assistant

The abuse was 100% unacceptable but I’m not sure it was your place to tell him he wasn’t there to coach. You are objectively wrong in regards to inability to coach and you seem to keep changing your story as to whether it’s League rules or your incorrect guidance. A coach in junior football...

    Liverpool vs Spurs

He’s reffed you 7 times this season whilst Oliver and Andy Madley have reffed you 5 times (presuming you’re a Liverpool fan as this just seems like a fan rumour) Immediately smelt of bullshit and a quick Google search, which is all it takes to fact check, proved me right. Tierney stats are...

    Liverpool vs Spurs

Interesting that Tierney is the ref today because whilst my memory could be wrong he referred Liverpool vs Spurs last year which again was a heated debate (It’s always a good game tbf I swear about half of the most talked about threads on this site are about that game) After that match Klopp...

    Liverpool vs Spurs

Jota is a clear red no debate shocked at No VAR review. I think Skipp could be a red but not clear and obvious enough for me. Didn’t really get a clear view on the Konate one but it looked clean will have to seek a rewatch before further comment on that. Without staggering into fan war, I...
