    MOAS Observer reports

Pretty much, one of those things I guess. Reading the observer report I’m struggle to see what I can even appeal, it was a totally nothing fixture. Like being assessed on a preseason match. Ultimately though, I don’t have aspirations of level 3 this season anyway. I considered this season a bit...

    MOAS Observer reports

1.3, use of STEP process. 3.4 management of injury, 4.1 work rate, 5.1 use of signals and 5.4 communication with assistants. All the rest were 7’s.

    MOAS Observer reports

Report has come through, ended up with a 71.25. Nothing great but considering it’s my first game at 4 and nothing happened during the game (1 caution, 0 KMI’s) I can’t complain!

    MOAS Observer reports

Thank you. it just confused me saying it was due yet the report isn’t actually available. Cheers for clarifying

    MOAS Observer reports

Had my first level 4 observation this weekend. I’ve just looked at the fixture on MOAS and it states ‘Observer Feedback Report Due’ however the report section says ‘N/A’. Is this just a case of wait for the report or have I missed something?

Instructions to Match Officials for the 2023/24 Season

I just watched the technical video. Interesting that it says that any referee being surrounded by players should be submitted a misconduct report as well as utilising the sin bin process.

By that they mean ‘we didn’t give ourselves enough time’

World Cup New Zealand V Norway

It was literally just referee shouting that the decision is a penalty. Pointless. Hopefully throughout the tournament we see more examples of decisions being explained

    red card in youth friendly.

Similar to ‘in the back ref’, screaming ‘it was shoulder to shoulder’ has become a thing amongst players and managers meaning they can use at much force as they possibly can

    MOAS

Anyone had their level 5 type added back in on MOAS? I had these removed in place of the Level 4 types, however over the past few days 5a, 5b, 5c have all been added back on?

    Fitness test

Passed mine this morning, first time of asking. I’ve Always failed my first one due to reoccurring injuries so chuffed that I can finally do a whole season without it hanging over my head. Bring on the season!

Open Age Caution procedure and write on cards

I tend to write all the names down in my notepad from the team sheet before the game so saves you scribbling away on the pitch. Simple tick next to the name or whatever and away you go

    Blood pressure test

After 13 phone calls, I managed to find a pharmacy who would allow me to walk in (only a 40 mile round trip, what a result!) The general guideline seems to be £7.50 for a booking 30 years in advance, or you can have it for free if you’re over 40 or have a history of family medical issues. I...

    Blood pressure test

I’ll have to try local walk ins. Been looking at Lloyd’s and all the local ones are September bookings at the earliest

    Blood pressure test

I’ve been looking to do a blood pressure test and all the pharmacy’s around me (Boots, day Lewis etc) all seem to be doing them if you’re over 40 or if you have high blood pressure in the family. I need to do the test in preparation for the fitness test but don’t meet these requirements, has...

    Referee YouTube channels

Honestly, I think they’d just opening themselves up to stick. Whether the decision is correct or not you’ll still get idiots telling them it’s not

    Refstop buzzer flags

Cheers guys. I’ll stick to standard flags in that case until I can (hopefully) get hold of some touchline flags

    Refstop buzzer flags

I’m going to commit to some buzzer flags this season and whilst the general consensus seems to be a love for A&H touchline flags, does anyone have any experience with the flags provided by Refstop?
