    Ross Barkleys Socks

If he doesn't I will.... Don't see why he's allowed to wear tape when no one else is...

    Ross Barkleys Socks

Is that not this year?? As I said it was brought up by a scouser at my development group last month so just assumed it was this season... He says he'll ask Anthony Taylor (refereed Liverpool derby I think) what he thinks of it at the regional next month

    Ross Barkleys Socks

I think so yep. Though surely Barkley must have some excuse or reason for wearing it?? Other than to hold his socks or shin pads in place... Can't imagine a referee decided one day that they didn't care about his tape. He's worn it all season

    Ross Barkleys Socks

Anyone know why he's allowed to wear what appears to be white tape on his blue socks?? It was brought up at my last development group meeting so thought id mention it here

    Game drinks

In an hour and a half game you really don't need any extra glucose... your body carries plenty of energy for what is mainly aerobic exercise. I personally hate lucozades etc and don't believe in them at all... All of the studies supporting the use of them are funded by the companies themselves...

Junior/Youth What decisions did you make this weekend that put a smile on your face?

I'm assuming that you haven't signalled but the time he shoots?? If that's the case then I doubt you'll have any arguments from anywhere if he misses and you pull it back... And if it was me when he scored id have put my arms up and walked away 'Jon moss' style

    Rooney penalty

The second Rooney hits the floor his head turns to face dowd... He also braces his fall very well for someone who hasn't dived

    Local derby

This Saturday I've got probably my hardest match ever... 2nd division, local derby, between two teams known for playing to the limit and one team in particular is apparently very moany (the worst kind of team imo)... Any tips on what to do and how to approach it?? My normal approach is to give...

    Rooney penalty

The pundits are saying Rooney dived to win a penalty vs some small team near blackpool tonight... I have to say having watched it was a stonewall penalty. Don't you agree @haywain ??

What are our thoughts on this?

I though assessors couldn't mark down if in there opinion the referee got it wrong (like in this instance or for a DOGSO) but only if they were wrong in law... Or is that a misunderstanding on my behalf??

    Junior/Youth Another example of why I don't trust CAR's....

But all are qualified refs!! (Or is that players?? I forget..)

What are our thoughts on this?

You're saying that when you tackled your feet never, at any point, left the ground?? You're a better man than I then!! I'm not talking knee high btw I'm talking my inches and for a spit second?? As a former centre half my self I find it hard to believe

What are our thoughts on this?

I do believe it was padfoot's calling referees incompetent if they didn't think that it was a red... Yacinho was simply referring to that. Personally I'm getting bored of padfoot calling referees incompetent or lazy or other if they disagree with him

What are our thoughts on this?

It is literally impossible to slide tackle without both feet leaving the ground at some point
  19. CallumRushton13

What are our thoughts on this?

Never been called incompetent before... Ahh well guess because my opinion is different to padfoot's I better throw my whistle away. Shame really... I was very much looking forward to my north west regional development group and national young referee development programme meetings. Shucks

What are our thoughts on this?

Watched it again... Can't say I think he was going in to hurt his opponent which is how I generally judge these things... Reckless imo
