Many Managers are annoyed with 30 seconds especially when they concede a goal so they will be even madder now, but they have brought it upon themselves, though it’s a shame they haven’t done anything about the goalkeepers, which is becoming silly now with the amount of occurrencesYes but I meant as a general deterrent of faking injuries even by outfield players.
It has definitely had an impact as teams have conceded when a player has been off, and from what I can see this is usually when there has been a genuine injury. I don't really have a problem with that though as treatment isn't supposed to happen on the pitch so genuinely injured players should be going off for treatment anyway.Has the 30s had any effect in the PL and EFL? I don't watch enough these days to make a decent assessment.
Sounds like a nightmare to enforce lower down the pyramidBBC are reporting some other proposed changes.
- Time limits on goal kicks and throw-ins with possession changing if they take too long (but no information on how long is too long).
- Players being substituted only get 10 seconds to leave the pitch. If not off by then they still have to go off but the replacement cannot come on for at least a minute, and only at a stoppage in play.
But they haven't agreed a solution to keepers going down to create tactical timeouts, and I would argue that is a bigger issue than the ones they are trying to fix.
10 seconds at a substitution of a player going off with a bad leg injury. . . hmm!Sounds like a nightmare to enforce lower down the pyramid
First thought was we can just use common sense. But after allowing 1 injured player to take longer everyone will start to take longer being "injured"10 seconds at a substitution of a player going off with a bad leg injury. . . hmm!
Players leaving the field and taking their time really does annoy me.BBC are reporting some other proposed changes.

The other one, is going down with a pretend head injury just to stop the game![]()
Pathetic really, especially when the opponent’s can hear it (& observers!!)Players and coaches have started brazenly shouting hold your head.
