So long as your club and MDC marks are good enough & then Observer marks from L4 there is no reason why you cannot get at least to L3 and perhaps higher. As to AR, I am aware of someone who is in his 50’s and recently promoted to PGMOL.Sound advice. I'm not looking at this as find faults, but more of a learning experience. I've made the decision that I want to become a better referee and go up through the levels. My ultimate aim is to reach level 3 and do the national league, but I am 49 and that might be out of reach. Maybe as an assistant?
However that is far away as I hope to reach level 6 this quarter and maybe even go for level 5 this year. Lets see!
That’s great to hear. I guarantee you’ll feel more confident, and be a better referee, going forward. So I had my match day coach today. I have to say that I found the experience so valuable.
Actually having someone who helps you improve. Yes he pointed out some faults in my game, but that’s the only way to improve. I know what I need to work on, but the overall feedback was positive.
Tips on positioning I will 100% implement.
I look forward to seeing the report.
