My point is that the red card last season to Fernandes against Spurs would be on the lower end of ‘the bar’. Yet the officials still looked at that, VAR included, and said red card.I’m not talking about a bar that’s been set by PGMO officials, I’m saying for anyone to think that is SFP it would set a very low bar, and then to suggest it’s so clearly and obviously SFP that a review should be recommended, your bar must be even lower.
If you think that’s SFP you must be seeing a lot of red cards in your games, and I say that as someone who’s had 3 reds in 5 games so far this season![]()
The officials looked at the MLS red card last season and decided red card. Again, fairly low bar.
So do you see how supporters see things like yesterday’s incident and almost expect a red card? They’re basing it on what they have seen previously.
