My shins are aching after a few games on hard artificial turf (looking at you tiger turf). HOKAs aren't allowed, and these pitches feel like concrete.

I know AG boots, insoles, and compression sleeves are key to preventing shin issues. Looking to invest properly, as pro gear isn't always applicable to our none state-of-the-art facilities.

Any recommendations for the best AG boots?

Why no HOKAs? Because they’re trainers or because they’re not typically all black? I wear copa mundials with cushioned insoles and they do pretty well on artificial turf. Especially for just one game. I have a pair of Brooks Glycerins that are 100% black that I’ll change to if I’m doing multiple games.

Tiger turf and other similar AG don't like you wearing near flat soles. Because you flatten all the rubber and other astro things. Which overtime damages the pitch.

Hence a lot of clubs are militant on anyone (manager, physio etc) being on the ground not wearing football boots.

Lots of the grounds that have a 3G surface have notices like the attached

It is amazing that for 99% of artificial turf, the Astro boots are not suitable to be worn

That's cause they were designed for the old school astro - the sand and rough plastic (My knees loves that surface as a kid - not...)- not the modern fibres and rubber crumb
