    I suspect, and would definitely like to think, one of his on-pitch colleagues told him over comms that he'd given a totally wrong free kick.

    And then an overturned free kick? Suggested by TV that it was a VAR intervention. Again it’s a bit odd. Don’t like how referee allows...
