what if whites had to pay more for learning to play football, training fees etc then match fees for youth grassroots football - where does all this nonsense end?

OK, I'm going to say it, I don't know where you are going with this. You post an article from a known divisive and right wing media organisation without any commentary, and then randomly post on replies. Leading to suggesting white people having to pay more for training and match fees than others, which to the best of my knowledge isn't a thing.

It has been explained why there are moves to improve the percentage of referees from ethnic minorities, as well as how UK law allows this, so I am really unclear as to the point you are trying to make?

There is a huge amount of difference between The FA/County FAs providing funding to run additional referee courses for BAME individuals at a discount, and 'making "whites" pay more'. Your ridiculous whataboutism is much like someone else's on this thread.

As for you... you signed up to this forum with the username "blackref", yet according to one of your previous posts on this thread, you want to be judged on your "commitmemt[sic] and ability to ref matches", and not the colour of your skin. And now when an admin calls you out on your ridiculous whataboutism, you use the fact that you are black (as far as you've told us, anyway) to try and bait them. Some might consider you posting this article followed by your comments and behaviour in this thread as being deliberately provocative and antagonistic.

This is a deliberate misrepresentation of the facts. The fact is that there is a standard fee. The fact is certain groups receive discounts. While this may sound the same as others paying more, it is not. There is a choice in receiving discounts. They can pay the full fee if they wish. There is no choice in "having to pay more".

looks like you are questioning my colour, why because it suits your argument have i disrespected anyone elses colour ethnicicity etc? No, because Im not judging by colour but the payment difference in the article does. The GB news has been questioned as right wing yet it doesnt matter where its reported, what matters is whats being reported and done. Not like anyone is saying its inaccurate.
 
People who suffer from low income etc. They dont have access to something that someone else now does solely because of their ethnicity. So if 2 people from the same street apply for the course, one BAME, one white it is 2 different prices. If people think thats inclusive, fair, or in any way positive then I strongly disagree. Discrimation in any form causes division. Now if the FA wish to offer free courses for those from impoverished backgrounds (of any ethnicity or sex) then I'm all for it but white you pay more thats just nonsense wrong. Its division is self evident onthis thread.
 
I did think this was a controversial topic. But I did not anticipate being accused of being racist (even if it is indirectly). Water off a ducks back.
 
Enough. One persons continued needling and antagonistic behaviour has caused this to shut down. You have been warned before. Stop it.
