The Referee - Mexican Ref gets 5 game ban!

Mexican referee Marco Antonio "Chiquidracula" Rodriguez's decided to be a bit different when showing the yellow card to two players in the Tigres-Santos match. Rather than show each player the card, he pulled out two yellow cards and showed them at the same time, earning himself a 5 game ban!
Mexican Soccer Federation secretary general Decio de Maria said in a statement:

"The situation of having drawn two yellow cards at the same time is outside the role, not something that is considered in the arbitration rules and is considered as if he had not responded to what happened and did not sanction it.​
