THE FA NO LONGER PROVIDING FREE KIT FOR LEVEL 2, 3 OR 4s

Was just about to post this.

I'm pretty sure it was only since the release of the Nike Referee II kit that it was a thing anyway. Start of the 22/23 season I believe (or may even have been start of 23/24). So whilst it's a shame it's been stopped, it's not like it's something that's always been a thing that they've taken away. Obviously they weighed up the cost of the initial outlay before and it was affordable. Since then, they've only had to provide it to the new level 4s, which is significantly less people than now the kit has changed, if they had to provide it to all existing and new level 2s, 3s and 4s.

Thanks for that. I can understand the disappointment but as many others have pointed out here and elsewhere so many more grassroots referees have always had to purchase their own kits.

But with this and the increase in registration fees I’m interested to see the difference we see in the support for all grassroots referees for improved development.

I'm not a 4 or a 3W but just thought i'd pop on and say to check your sizes, I and a few others have made posts about the new 26-30 kit and the sizing is not the same for the top or shorts! I know a lot of stuff you order that is badged you cannot then return so just be aware of that
