Quite often threads are highlighting controversial incidents but sometimes it’s worth highlighting excellent refereeing. High tempo game, lots at stake and a big atmosphere and I thought Andy Madley was fantastic throughout and you’d be forgiven for thinking otherwise with the card count. Players were both trying to play football and going flying into tackles and AM managed it perfectly. Even got a nice early card in for simulation.

It was a really tricky game as it was very feisty and the players were understandably up for it more than usual, and he absolutely nailed it.
