Cooper & Vardy cautioned for protest, may have a point, AR had a good view, safe/soft free kick for pull on Vardy on halfway line?

Not in that scenario. Final warning and next time he’s gone. Had he gone sliding in and wiped him out or grabbed a handful of shirt it’s a different story, but despite the petulant trip the Leicester player has run straight at him in an attempt to get him sent off, hence the imaginary card.

And to quote a couple of Leicester fans I know, Cooper has two plans. If plan A doesn’t work, point the blame elsewhere.

Quite the clickbait when it says an angry Steve Cooper where in actual fact he was quite restraint and clearly wanted to say more but didn't.

As for the tackle itself, it's the classic of not every tackle is a yellow card and that is the case here, I don't think it's a cynical trip, its not SPA and I don't think he would of been booked even if he wasn't on a yellow unless it was for repeated fouling.

The other thing is it didn't really stop a promising attack as Partey was there and would probably have got the ball even without the foul. It isn't as if the forward was running into space and cynically taken out.

Players at the level are brilliantly intelligent.

Buonanotte knows that Calafiori is on a yellow. He drives straight at him, leaves his leg in then immediately gets on his feet to ask for the yellow.
