Shoves the ref some three times before a second yellow (usb/dissent, not VC?) is issued.

Ref does run right into the players personal space and puts his hand on the players chest to push him back. Ref also very flamboyantly and in extremely close proximity shows the original yellow right in the face of the player. Which for me is bad drills and why they coach refs in England not to touch the players.

Obviously the player pushing the referee back is unacceptable and he gets a justified sending off.

Regardless, Argentinian football isn't English football and Argentinian football needs a tough ref.

I wish the clip started a bit earlier to see how the R and player got so close and what the first yellow was for. But that has to be AT LEAST a second yellow, and I would prefer a straight red. (the players astonishment at the second yellow is amazing.)

Really, you’re blaming the ref?? Nonsense. He’s as close as he is to the player because he stepped between the two players who were starting to go at it.

I am, he drops his cards as he is so frantic, & he touches the player first, he moves forward in to his personal space. IMHO.
