Second Level 5 Assessment

I am being 'observed' tomorrow for the second time for my Level 6 to Level 5. Hoping it goes well as the first was above standard. It's on a 3G pitch with wet weather forecast tomorrow.

Yeah it went really well. It was a dull first half, one player was on a final warning for persistent fouling, second half starts he fouls again but play a really good advantage then go back to caution him. Assessor was happy with that, then I'm the space of 15-20 minutes ended up cautioning 5 more players which ranged from holding opponents and breaking up promising attacks to cynical trips. The assessor or observer said all cautions were spot on, had total control of the game and the only few pointers that a few times I was too close which was fair enough and it was difficult to anticipate the drop zones due to the wind. Assesor said it was an above standard performance from his view so will wait for the write up to come through. So that would be two above standard performances for this level 5 promotion season with nine games done and one more assessment more needed, 11 more games to to go to hit the quota, so heading in the right direction for Level 5 or hopefully be nominated for Level 4.

Excellent, sounds really positive - and sounds like the feedback you received was useful/relevant etc. Well done

If you're level 6 as your thing says on here surely you have both lots of assessments to get in

Some counties (and in fact West Riding used to operate similarly) will simply put any successful 6-5 candidates forward to the FA whom they deem worthy of nomination, without an 'application for 6-4' as such. There's a local Level 4 who has been for a few years who did 7-6, 6-5 and then got a phone call from the RDO basically saying "Come down and do a fitness test." That was at the end of his 6-5 season and they then gave him his 4, first he knew of it.
