Hard to see how that isn’t six of one, half a dozen of the other. As opposed to the penalty challenge which is just the Hungary player running through the back of him. I think if we are choosing to punish either challenge then it must be a penalty.

Agreed, think he may have been offside? Hence the lack of VAR review

Can’t lean into someone running into the back of you whilst running forward yourself. He slows sure but he’s in control of the ball and entitled to do so without being barged into from behind

That was awful all round. Two terrible teams, bang average ARs, whistle happy ref, Scotland first shot after 53 mins, fully deserve to get back on the bus. 115 mins I will never get back.

Rare I disagree with you on decisions, but I thought Armstrong slowed down and moved a leg towards the defender. Not a penalty for me.

Honestly thought the ref and crew was fantastic in a heated game.

Think Armstrong was offside and clarification on that would have been useful. But there is no doubt that at the same time he is kneed he is also pulling on the defender's shirt so there is no way VAR can intervene.
