As a Hungarian I think that the Armstrong-Orban incident could have been given, the ref might have been compansating a bit after the two penalty calls that went against Hungary before. Especially the Varga-incident was curious, I think that should have been a red as well (for using excessive force and being reckless). The two scottish defenders pushed Varga, into the path of Gunn's fist.

I personally don't think there is any argument for excessive force in that collision as Gunn has a right to attempt to play the ball and did so in the normal manner. The contact was completely accidental, and while (a bit) forceful, was reckless at most in my opinion. I still don't think it was a foul though!

He did play the ball with his right hand, but he hit Varga with his left fist. Obviously it was accidental, but it wasn't in a normal manner, I don't think.

The second one was a much better shout than the collision and a better shout than the Scotland whinge IMHO
