Ref Six - Watch

I'd be very interested on insights about the differences using buttons or touch screen.
I'm going to buy a watch soon, and I'm hesitant between the Garmin Forerunner 255 (buttons) and the 265 (touch screen but much more expensive).
What would you say is the best user experience with RefSix? Buttons or touch screen?

I've never used Refsix with buttons but the touchscreen is fine until it gets wet. Then it's useless.

I use a Galaxy Watch 46mm and never have issues with it aside from the odd warning that RefSix is draining the battery which I expect if I am running it for a few hours during back to back games.
