Having the same problem myself of late. Agree with the suggestion that hard pitches are to blame for triggering symptoms. I find a good warm up puts the issue to bed during a game but I can’t avoid pain and stiffness for the next couple of days. Stretching and foam rolling of calf helps and as much rest between fixtures as you can afford. Heel raises can be effective for injuries in that area but don’t do them without professional advice.
