For me, I would suggest going along to your local RA meetings, or RDP schemes. Even if you don't interact with the conversations initially, it may well be worth sitting in and listening to the coaching provided, and the conversations that take place. You'll pick up loads of knowledge/advice/training, and make friends within refereeing while you do it
