I reffed an adult game today.
Shot comes in and the red keeper parries it. Blue attacker smacks the ball from about 8 yards out sweet as" and its goalbound (middle of the goal).
Red defender uses both hands to stop the ball (like he's a goalkeeper). The red defender is on the line and he's alone.
I award a penalty and a red card. No complaints.
The red keeper makes a great save from the penalty.
Red team eventually wins 1-0 and win the division they are in (turns out by a point).
I wish as refs we could award a goal and a yellow card in this scenario. Morally the non-scoring of a goal feels wrong in this situation.
