So I got reported to fa because of bad performances. One of the games which I have the whole footoge zero mistakes that affect the score of the game. Not even small minors. But they somehow gave me 0 and straight report other one game management but everything marked as good. But they said I gave so many extra times. I mean this is just annoying and how people treat you after report point of referee secretaries is terrible

Yes seems all rather unfair and even if you

Yes all seems very unfair and even if you did make a mistake, no one should be marking zero. If the Referee Secretary is worth his/her salt, hopefully he/she will just disregard & trust the mark of the opponents who hopefully were nearer to where it should be.

You state two bad reports from two separate matches, so there are likely learnings, maybe not in decision making but other aspects of refereeing?

Can you ask a referee colleague to observe/mentor one of your next matches?

Yep the problem is I’m on promotion and my reports are coming fantastic. And the crazy things I got whole veo footage and no one can found anything. And the other game it was for giving many extra times. That’s why I’m n a weird situation

How is your communication on field?

There are some foreign refs in my area who's decisions are top notch but their verbal communication skills, in their non-native language, are limited and it leads to confusion.

Don't worry about it, especially these days as bad club marks likely won't affect promotion.

I got zero from both teams on a step 3 game, they'd taken glee in telling me this in the boardroom after. I was assessed on the game and got 71, not a great mark but not a bad one and it just shows how petty clubs can be.

My argument was there was a veo footage. And I told the secretary I always looking for improve myself no problem with that but if they decide give me zero they can show the footage as a proof nothing happened explains a lot

Nothing will happen. I had one of the most experienced and respected observers the FA had say I'd had at least a decent game but the marks (if you can call zero a mark) still stood.

If I got two extremely low club marks from two different games in a short window. I would reach out to the appointments officer and ask for the feedback on the reports. To give below a certain mark - comments are required. Also I would be asking is this something the clubs do regularly.

Eg. If they give out zeros everytime they lose, I would mostly disregard what they say. But if this is their first zero ever, I would be extremely interested in what they have to say.

Look at what the clubs say and if you might be able to improve your game.

Another thing worth considering is the end of fixtures are often extremely memorable. So if you choose to play a lot of (or not enough) extra time. The team that least benefits from this will be annoyed. Especially if a winner/equaliser is scored during this time. Nothing you can do about this, other than factually justify your extra time. This is similar to giving a 90+ mins penalty. Doesn't matter how stonewall it is. You will be marked negatively for it from the non-beneficial club.

That’s great advice I did 80 games in my first 1.5 season. And that was my first reports so feeel kinda weird.
