Oh I can't wait for the rest to comment on this game.
What a fantastic end to the viewing from a neutrals perspective (and even Evertons).

Anyway.

Anyone giving a foul for the push/nudge before the ball fell to Tarkowski?
Did Oliver really have a bad game (clearly Arne Slot did) as I personally thought he done very well considering the circumstances of the match (local derby, last ever at goodison etc).

Everton’s opening goal comes from an act of simulation, which felt very obvious in real time and a big miss. Feel foul recognition on both sides was pretty poor too, Connor Bradley very lucky to stay on the FoP. Would love to see a close up of the challenge on Salah in added time as certainly felt like one which had to either be a free kick in his favour or simulation. Foul for me before the equaliser but never enough for VAR to get involved

EDIT: the Salah challenge in added time seems a very clear foul, unfortunate miss that late in the game - very difficult to spot

I think there was a foul on Konate, but not enough to quite be deemed C&O.

Thought Oliver did okay, but his foul detection was a bit all over the place at times. And don’t get me started on the ‘foul’ for the free kick that led to first goal 😬

Not a clue how he missed the challenge on Salah towards the end.

Certainly not one of Oliver's finest performances tonight.

Some how found an extra 2 - 3 minutes after the head injury when there was only one left on the clock.

Seemed to miss some really obvious fouls and I think the Konate one is a foul, especially after he gave one against Dias for a challenge on Branthwaite in the air.

But a bit of balance for any sulking scousers... he also did Slot a huge favour by not sending off Connor Bradley for second yellow SPA.

I thought he did well in a physical game by Everton which for the netrual made a match low on chances watchable.

As for the possible foul at the end, I don't think there is much in it to be honest but the camera angles what we could see were not the best.

I thought all his yellows were bookings in the main, I can't think of one that wasn't a booking.

The only mistake I can think of was the reward of the free kick which led to Evertons first goal but apart from that, a good performance imo.

He took a gamble to let a lot of physicality go in a game that has history for kicking off. Aside from the nonsense at the end, which he had zero control over, I never thought he was in any danger of losing control. The nudge on Konate at the end was very, very difficult to the Dias fouls, the latter was just looking at players and then just charging into them, to the extent that I'd have been cautioning after the second of them. It probably was a foul on Konate, but equally not giving it was very consistent to what he had applied throughout the game in terms of physical contact, and it certainly didn't reach VAR intervention levels.

Seems to be lots of complaints online about Bradley not being given a second caution, but that was never SPA, Beto was moving towards the touchline. And the counter to that is Everton's Gueye would inevitably had a second caution earlier had Oliver not played advantage on a clear SPA.

Less experienced referees might have killed this game to make sure they kept control, but it was very entertaining and that would almost certainly have taken much of that entertainment away.

In what way was that SPA? This was simply a standard circumstance of people assuming that once a player is on a yellow, their next foul is a second yellow

Dont see that as SPA personally, would of been a very soft second yellow if he did give a second yellow for that.

Liverpool players complaining about the referee playing more time than they thought but it's down to the referee how much extra get added. I'm glad Slot got a red card if he said something out of turn as it puts a totally different complexition on his handshake. Another ref may not of produced a red and people will think Slot took the equaliser with dignity.

I think Oliver just likes to show who’s boss. I’m sure slot wouldn’t have sworn at him but Oliver seemed very persuasive towards Everton tonight. There’s only been one other game in the last ten years that a team got over 63% of the ball and received 20 fouls.

Everton deserved a draw and that finish at the end was excellent for someone for his first goal of the season.

Slot doesn’t need to swear at him to be sent off. Plenty of other things can be said that aren’t swear words.

Think you need to clarify that comment, are you accusing Michael Oliver of being biased? As that is what it looks like.

Indeed, a manger entering the field of play doesn't have to swear at all if they confront a match official, just being there and confronting them is a mandatory red card.

We all know that does not happen though all the time, only if the manager says something out of turn which no doubt Slot did and I guess it depends on Michael Olivers match report will depend if the touchline ban is just one game or not.

Utter nonsense once again after a Liverpool game. Are you even a referee? Because I only ever see you on here talking rubbish after Liverpool games 🤣
‘I’m sure Slot wouldn’t have sworn at him’ - not only is he not required to have sworn for it to be a red, what on earth would make you so assured that he wouldn’t have?

No I’m not saying he was biased but he seemed unnecessary harsh on Liverpool but was weaker or allowed Everton to get away with more. He didn’t give a foul in the second half to Everton until the 90th minute. Also in the first half he waved advantage when Gueye pulled a player back but got free only to lose the ball next second due to the balance being lost.

Thing I don't understand is... MO dishes out the reds... But totally failed to give all of the Liverpool players surrounding him and the ARs and 4th official any cautions. They stand there just getting shouted at with abuse when they should have acted.

Also to the bias claim.... Bradley and MacAllister could have easily been sent off and probably should have.

The anger from Liverpool fans seem to be about the time added on.... But they seem to have missed when Salah pushed the two Everton players into each other which led to approx 80s of additional extra time due to a head injury. They were also playing with 9 men for 30s. They also have short memory of the Newcastle game when the ref blew up early when Newcastle were 3v1 on goal.

I'm not MO biggest fan, but felt he let the game go which created a great game of football to watch for the fans.

Not sure what threads etc you’ve seen, but I’ve not seen anyone complain about time added on. Granted I don’t have social media, but if time had been the issue, my phone would have blown up with messages. The main issue people have is the potential foul on Konate.
