Chewing Gum Whilst Refereeing.

Michael Oliver can regularly be seen having a good old chew on Match of the day.

He made reference to it at a development session I went to, said don't chew gum because it looks scruffy.

Not something I'd do, mainly because I'd probably end up choking myself

Lots of people in sports regularly use chewing gum to concentrate the mind away from pain and tiredness

Spent some time in the USofA a few years back and the chewing tobacco stuff is quite prevalent. Its a disgusting habit but its endemic in baseball and the like.


My former US brother in Law chewed it too, he offered me some but i happily refused!! ehhhhhh
