Noooooo!Tuck the shirts and you are good to go!
When I watch professional matches, I'm always surprised at how many center referees wear traditional soccer shoes. I would imagine those can get uncomfortable. In the US, Canada, and Mexico, we often see center referees wearing shoes like the Rockadias. As centers, we are not touching the ball and we are not cutting sharply like players. The trail running-type shoes have always worked better for me.
It depends on what referee kit you have, cant have a nike kit with adidas boots.
Martin Atkinson would like a word with you. He always wears Adidas.
It would mess with my OCD too much, ive got nike sweatbands and boots, as well as a Nike tracksuit and jacket i wear on matchdays.
I'm just at the point where I don't give a flying (fill in your blank here ) about that anymore, but I definitely see where you are coming from.
Last week, I did a game wearing Diadora shoes, Official Sports shirt and shorts, and Nike running gloves. The next night, I wore Adidas shoes and an Under Armour wristband. I realize I look like an auto racing team with all of the different brands, but I just don't care anymore!
And neither does anyone else. The players, managers etc, nobody cares what brands the ref is wearing. Wear £400 worth of Nike kit or £40 worth of unbranded kit, no one cares.
And what happens when the FA changes their kit supplier - OCD overload or a massive buying sessionIt would mess with my OCD too much, ive got nike sweatbands and boots, as well as a Nike tracksuit and jacket i wear on matchdays.
Just as long as all three officials have the same sleeve length!
(That was a long time, and stupid, obsession here in the US for a long time. It has mostly passed, but a few linger with the idea that it looks "more professional," even though the pros routinely wear different lengths.)
You'd be surprised how many refs ask about sleeves. Having worked in a lot of teams of 3 it's bizarre how obsessive some folk can be.Sleeve lengths. Who bothers themselves with such nonsense? It cannot be related to professionalism in any way, shape or form. What an odd concept. Sounds like these types of ridiculous perceptions are leaving the game in the US which can only be a positive.
