The grassroots leagues I referee in more or less mandate food for both teams and the officials. It's always in the bar. I think it's quite nice. I've been doing it long enough that most of the teams know me and I'm on fairly friendly terms with most of them. Of course it's been a nasty game I decline.
On the subject of Veo cameras you'd better get used to it. I always get a copy if I can, more often than not it confirms exactly what I thought at the time.

Doesn't specifically mention match officials, but this is the section from the grade F ground grading document that applies at step 5. So pretty clear this has to be a board room or at least a separated area.
