Open Age Being assaulted

Several years back when I was in Surrey a referee was assaulted so he slapped him back. Got a 6 month ban.

I suppose it's only fair. If a player gets whacked and hits the other player back we'd send them off.

Just for some closure on this, I've had confirmation he's been banned for 6 months, and the police have sent his letter of apology....

Out of interest, as I dont think ive heard it mentioned anywhere - but whats the official signal for abandoning a match?

Blow for full time? Then run over to the managers and explain?

Glad you've got some closure though, it must be a relief to get it put to bed.
