Barca v Getafe Penalty/Handball?

The Ref Stop

Interesting, doesn‘t accidental handball apply only if a goal is immediately scored?

Thoughts?
Or immediate goal scoring opportunity..and it has to be for the player whose hand/arm touched the ball so that's not what has happened here.
I think this is an unnaturally bigger situation as the player has put his arm across the opponent to impeded their movement.

That's a very harsh handball award, the two players are just grappling for the ball, there's even an argument to say that the opponent has pulled him and caused the contact.

For me it looks like a case of looking for an excuse not to give the penalty and calling this a handball offence is his way out.

As for the actual penalty shout, I don't think it was a C&O error, VAR must have thought it was for it to be reviewed. I am comparing this being called C&O error and the Wolves v Man U incident not being called C&O error and still scratching my head.
