Level 5 Referee
Hi guys, I was put onto the annual level 5 to 4 promotion schemes in April last year with Oxfordshire FA
I have completed all criteria and got an average assessment score of 72.4
I'm wondering if and when I will find out about promotion as I've not heard anything yet and im panicking.

Your county FA should, by now, have informed you whether they are nominating you to The FA for level 4.
If they haven't, I'd contact your RDO and ask. If they have, then you wouldn't have heard yet I don't believe, but there's no set date to hear by. You'd imagine it will be in the next week or 2, but I think the FA may be running behind on some things potentially too.

They've informed me i have been nominated and I will find out early in the new year. Just concerned ive not heard anything in a week.

Also concerned ive read that you need to pay in other R.A but I haven't.

What does your second sentence mean?
If I read it correctly, I think that means that he's heard from an RA group that you need to pay to get 5-4 promotion, which presumably relates to most county FAs charging a fee to apply. If you've been nominated, that bit is already taken care of.

Yeah thats correct. My FA didn't ask for any money when putting me on promotion pathway

Yeah you don’t need to worry if they’ve told you they’ve nominated you to the FA. The money, if charged, goes to the county FA to help cover their costs in getting you observed. It’s not a requirement of the FA

Most likely you'll find out next week. I believe 4-3 automatic promotions and assessment day selections were sent out today, so once the FA knows how many they've got at each level the 5-4 promotions will be announced. I was promoted mid season 5-4 last year and found out on 14/01, equally those who were unsuccessful also found out at the same time.

Good luck!
