The Ref Stop

Alternative Referee Shirt Colour

The Ref Stop
15 shirts and 7 different colours. What about shirts and socks too? How many pairs of boots?
3 pairs of boots (2 moulded, 1 screw-ins), 2 pairs of trainers (for synthetic surfaces). Shorts all black. Socks mostly all black, but also have yellow, red and orange pairs in case of a clash! Sometimes wear the coloured socks under black socks, turned over so that only the top of the coloured sock is visible, to match the colour of the shirt!

Hey guys, forgot my purple shirt!

Just so you know, our referee kit is supplied by our clubs. Each referee is allocated his local club as a club member/liaison. Each season the club provide the referee with at least one new kit. As a consequence the referee will NEVER referee this club. However, the referee is expected to referee at least one pre-season friendly without getting a fee. Also the referee is expected to advise the club, players and officials, on the changes to the laws at the beginning of each season.
