For me thats a pk on the clip.
And no, although as referee you could call it back of course, for me, I would have to say its gone and take it on the chin
Why take the chance? Advantage should be exactly that, an advantage, not a ball retention
Given you have also clearly signalled advantage, pulling it back will be a hard sell and be seen to be giving them best of both worlds, shot to score AND a pk

But he hasn't clearly signalled advantage. What if he'd blown the whistle immediately for a pen, then the lad had tucked it into the back of the net ? I'd rather have sold a pen (after the shot had gone wide) rather than disallowing a perfectly good goal.

You can’t win as a ref here.

If you give advantage and he misses they team in question will say you should have gave a penalty.

If you give the penalty and he carries on and scores they will say you should have played advantage.

I get some critiscm for being harsh with my black/white reasoning on here, but thats a referee signalling advantage

How on earth anybody can say he is not signalling advantage is mystifying and scary
