Didn’t realise but also covered by the Referee Channel.

    Madrid vs Bayern

Very surprised this wasn’t given at the time or after a VAR review (if there was one). Best video I could find so apologies for the dramatic music etc. I00% penalty if I see that in one of my games.

    IFAB changes for 26-27

That jewellery/ accessories amendment 😳 Does that mean as long as they’re covered players can now wear their Apple Watches or Garmins? Are chains allowed? Nose rings? Ear rings? Lip rings? (You get the picture) - what was wrong with just a nice and easy ‘no jewellery?’

    Referee social media accounts.

Really like his stuff (the videos from his own games are good too but he seems to have stopped doing them recently), but his comments to people are hilarious (and justified in my opinion - ask stupid questions/ give a stupid comment and you'll get a simple and abrupt answer back!) - but really...

    England v Uruguay

I haven’t checked but in my head Kane got a penalty for a similar thing against Holland didn’t he back in the euros?

    Birmingham v Sheffield United

I'm not trying to be difficult but for those who have said red, why? The attacker is almost jogging when he is near the ball as the pass through has lost all its pace on it, how can you say that an OGSO is imminent? The other defender is around a yard away, awaiting the attackers touch to...

    VAR allowable restart interventions

Have they understood correctly? I think they are saying they cannot review the *awarding* of a restart (whose throw/ corner etc) - but if there was a foul throw which is what I think you were asking - would that be reviewable?

    PAL v LEE

Thought process was probably: - 'Ahh, should have played advantage - I'll give a yellow so I can say I had to stop play for that and appease the Palace players' - 'Ahh ********'

    Keeper Injury/Tactic Talk

What makes me laugh, after being a player in one of these time-out huddles', is that a lot of the information is just - "Oi you - get in to number 7s face', or 'Try and play more direct behind the left back' - hardly any great tactical insight (admittedly this may be because of the level I was...

    FUL vs WHU

This is the conclusion I sort of came to too, but only for the 49th minute offence - the 44th minute one I think is a foul on the defender as he is a lot closer to the ball and about to poke it away, the 49th minute one the defender just puts his leg in the way to purposely trip the attacker not...

    Wolves v Arsenal

Sorry genuine question... do we need to make them wait 30 seconds on the sideline? Or is this a hypothetical? If we do I have not been following that at all! :redcard:

    Wolves v Arsenal

At grassroots too? I can see a lot of officials at the weekend forgetting to stop the clock for every throw in, corner, goal kick and losing track of it all! Too far gone probably and equally as problematic but I think probably easier (just) to actually manage time wasting as it is now. A whole...

    Qarabag v Newcastle Penalty

I personally don't mind this as handball - I get the supporting arm argument but the player has effectively saved the shot from going towards goal by spreading his body out and his hand has blocked it.

    Aston Villa v Newcastle

Where do you find stuff from Graham Scott? I’ve seen him mentioned a few times as being well spoken but cannot find any of his quotes anywhere (I’m not on social media!)

    Aston Villa v Newcastle

in the spirit of the law it’s a definite red (and I’m a villa fan!) - he knows it’s either bring the striker down or possibly concede, not interested in the ball at all so even though it might not tick arbitrary notes for DOGSO, in the spirit of the game it’s a classic professional foul.

    Cautions into PSO

I believe as soon as the final whistle goes that the game has ended, and that PSO is considered separate and so this would be a new caution (so if booked in game, they would not be sent off; this would be their first yellow of the PSO). As for dissent - don't know! I am assuming cannot be sin...

    Birmingham City v WBA

Haha - just watched the clip - does he ever go over or just leave the 8 players in front of the AR? I was waiting and waiting for the ref to appear!

    LIV v MCI

I think the main grievance for everyone is that no one wanted that red card - City wanted the goal, and Liverpool didn’t want to have their player suspended
  19. B

    LIV v MCI

Wouldn’t say it’s ‘bottling’ a red - it’s giving a goal which to be honest suits everybody

Referee’s Procedure in Case of a Mutual Altercation Between Players During the Match"

Interestingly, I messaged IFAB today about what the restart is if I stop play to give two cautions for 'squaring up' to each other - the answer was a dropped ball to the team last in possession!
