It happen to me twice this season at step 7. Carrying out the substitution on halfway line ( Referee as No NAR so CAR ). To find the player waiting to come on was not named on Team sheet. I did not allow substitution to go ahead. I'm just wondering is this some think I should report?

Some good points. I personally think we need to get some young players such as academy players. Maybe the ones that may not make the cut as players can move over refereeing.

Yes, I can see how it could be interpreted that way. The watch is only stopped during a prolonged stoppage; otherwise, it would become dark before the final whistle at park football if the watch is stopped every time.

Agree, the only exception to this at grassroots but would it comes under time-wasting is when a player is taking long time to Retrieve a ball that gone out of play, otherwise my watch is still running.

My understanding is that you can complete your course anywhere and then simply apply to your local Football Association to inform them that you have attended the course and need to fulfill the requirement of officiating five games.
