    F*ck off

I see what you mean having warned him. I just thought at the time that you wouldn't dream of giving it in an adult game so why alter the law so to speak because of juniors? Aware we do so with some laws but for a red?

    Report incident

Go to whole game and log in. Click on referee administration and add match. It can be a hastle finding the leagues / teams however once you have done this you will be put to a page with cautions and dismissals. Click onto cautions and then click add a caution. You then select the team and...

    F*ck off

I did speak to both him and the manager and it died down. My worry was that if the warnings didn't work I didn't really have a leg to stand on. Agree it shouldn't be said / heard at that age but I just couldn't confidently sell that as OFFINABUS.

    F*ck off

To hop on this thread I had a junior game a while ago (I think U13) and one player whenever he misplaced a pass would moan and say " oh for f***s sake" or "f**k off" The other teams manager wanted him sent off for this. I opted not to. My reasoning being that he wasn't saying it to anyone and...

    One bit of advice

If you have a bad experience talk about it with your RDO / other refs. Don't just stay silent and let it weigh you down.

    Promotion/Academy Teams/Assistant Refs help

To go for promotion you will need to apply to your local FA. You can only do this once a season so unfortunately you'll have to wait till next if you want to move up. You will be observed (hopefully 3 times covid permitting) and given a mark which hopefully will be enough to move up. You can...

Caution a coach for not following subs procedure.

In LOTG "failing to cooperate with a match official e.g. ignoring an instruction/request from an assistant referee or the fourth official" is a warning. You can caution for multiple warnings. Could you not do so here if it continues?

Control of the ball. I think Wilson's touch is big and Dunk may get it before him.

    Brighton v Newcastle

Looking at the laws I now see. 3 out of the 4 criteria have been met. I now see why it was given. Cheers everyone.

Thanks all. Glad this happened on TV and not in one of my games.

    Sub Woe

Don't give the FA any ideas for exam questions. There's a shortage as it is 🤣

    Brighton v Newcastle

I'm hoping you good folks can change my mind here as I've watched it back and don't actually see a red card. Since I'm seeing no debate about it I must be wrong. In real time I thought he had given it for serious foul play however watching it back I don't see either DOGSO or SFP. I think...

    Goalkeeper time wasting?

I think this comes down to common sense and what football expects. By that logic if there is a penalty kick and the team who has the penalty are winning, do you allow the goalkeeper to walk the entire pitch if they are letting them take it? I think this is a grey area in law and common sense...

    Goalkeeper time wasting?

Shout loudly to do a little jog. Ask the coach for a new ball. Go up and tell the keeper publicly to hurry up in future. If it keeps happening caution. I should add that when you chose to go to the caution can be a grey area and depends on the feeling of the game so that's up to you to read...
