Congrats! I'm doing 6-5 promotion and done 15 games now, still awaiting my first observation of the season...

I referee in a fairly large league structure but always seem to get appointed in the same couple of mid tiered divisions. I'd love to get challenged with some tougher fixtures, has anyone had any experience with this? How did you go about asking for these. Also I've never been given a county cup...

1) Kicking the ball away - cautioned under what? Can it be a sin bin offence? 2) High boot, direct free kick? When do you determine its a yellow card?

Can an indirect free kick be taken from the edge of the 6 yard box? If the offence occurs on the goal line but outside of the 6 yard box, where is the kick taken from?

Calling an official a cheat? Straight red? Calling an opponent a cheat? ... What do you guys think?

How have you found it? Is it a simple case of telling them why you are booking them, administering the yellow, then pointing in the direction of the sin bin area? Giving it 10 mins then waving them back on at a break in play?

Are sin bins use by every county FA in the country? Any tips for administering them?
